About The Author

Stuart Yates has spent over 20 years teaching science, PE, literacy, and numeracy to 11–16-year-olds. With a background in biology, he understands the importance of nutrition, recovery, and mindset in athletic development. He’s also coached young athletes in the UK and across New England, many of whom have gone on to play professionally.A lifelong sportsman, Stuart created My Football Diary to help young players build confidence, reflect on their progress, and take ownership of their journey—on and off the pitch.
